Specificity
- This antibody reacts strongly with CD34. CD34 is selectively expressed on haemopoietic progenitor cells, vascular endothelium, and fibroblasts. CD34, a transmembrane phosphoglycoprotein, may be involved in cellular signal transduction and intercellular adhesion. This clone has been characterized in the VI international workshop on human differentiation antigens.
